A timeline of Niti Singhal's journey in fashion: 2015: Completes fashion design education at Istituto Marangoni, Milan. 2016: Gains experience with renowned Italian fashion houses, focusing on embroidery and fabric. 2017: Returns to India and begins developing Twee In One, a versatile clothing brand. 2018: Launches Twee In One with an initial investment of ₹8 lakhs.
The Product / Service
Twee in One is India's first dedicated reversible and convertible fashion brand designing garments (dresses, tops, jackets, and other women's wear) that can be worn in multiple configurations through clever construction (reversible fabrics, convertible necklines, detachable elements, adjustable silhouettes) allowing a single garment to create 2, 3, or more distinct looks combining Istituto Marangoni design craftsmanship with sustainable fashion principles (buy less, wear more, reduce wardrobe waste) and organic fabric sourcing.

Pitch Presentation
Twee in One's pitch was presented with live model demonstrations showing the same garments being converted into multiple configurations on stage, making the "two-in-one" transformation tangible and immediately comprehensible. Twee in One entered the tank with a chic proposition: to transform wardrobes with their reversible and convertible clothing. At the heart of Twee in One's pitch was a commitment to redefining fashion with versatility and sustainability. Wikipedia The live fashion demonstration models wearing garments, then showing how the same pieces transform into different looks through simple conversion is the most direct possible product demonstration for a fashion brand. Unlike most consumer products that can be described and sampled, fashion only truly communicates through the wearing and the transformation.
Sharks' Reactions & Criticism
Ashneer Grover delivered Season 1's most controversially extreme fashion critique. Ashneer called it horrible fashion and said 'It's time you shut down your company. No point in wasting your time.' He had even said that 'nobody in his house will wear Niti's clothes.' The subsequent irony Ashneer's wife Madhuri Jain Grover wearing a Twee in One dress on The Kapil Sharma Show became one of Season 1's most widely shared and most culturally resonant post-episode stories, with Niti posting a photo captioned with Ashneer's own famous line "yeh sab doglapan hai" (this is all hypocrisy). Ashneer Grover addressed the episode, saying: "So I told her (Niti) that I would make a mop out of it, because it was so bad. She doesn't listen, my wife." The other Sharks were more measured in their exits acknowledging the design creativity and the sustainability concept while identifying commercial scalability concerns in a category where consumer adoption of reversible fashion remained limited in India.
