Entrepreneur Background
Baldev Jumnani and Jayshree Jumnani own Shrawani Engineers. They are based in Nagpur, Maharashtra. They have known each other for 20 years and have a daughter. Baldev worked at Emcure Pharmaceuticals in the past Sharktankindiaclub — ironically the very company of which Namita Thapar, one of the Sharks before him, is Executive Director. His background as a Medical Representative (MR) at a pharma company gave Baldev a foundation in product knowledge, anatomy, and the healthcare ecosystem — context that was largely invisible in his Shark Tank presentation. Baldev Jumnani leads Shrawani Engineers, overseeing product development and business strategy. His background in engineering and entrepreneurship focused on innovative health and wellness solutions. Jayshree Jumnani co-founded the company and contributes to product design and operations, with experience in business management and product procurement.
The Product / Service
Shrawani Engineers makes non-surgical belly button shapers — physical devices designed to reshape the appearance of the navel over time through regular use, without surgery, medication, or any invasive procedure. Two products were presented: Navel Sakuru: Designed to shape the belly button into a rounder, more circular form. Available in sizes tailored to different age groups. Startupwiki Navel Fukai: Designed to make the belly button appear deeper. Promoted for regular use to achieve the desired result.

Pitch Presentation
Baldev and Jayshree walked in and introduced their product — a belly button shaper — with a sincerity and earnestness that initially confused, then amused, and finally charmed the Sharks and the audience simultaneously. The founders demonstrated the product on the show itself Business Insider India, showing exactly how the device would be applied to the navel — a demonstration that prompted visible, genuine laughter across the Shark panel. The financial data was presented honestly: the product was priced at ₹650 and had generated ₹4.5 lakhs in total sales before the pitch, representing approximately 700 units sold. Indiatimes The founders cited a broader market that they believed existed — particularly in the film industry, among models, bodybuilders, and fitness professionals.
Sharks' Reactions & Criticism
Vineeta Singh raised the most substantive objections. Vineeta wasn't interested in transformative products and had concerns about the legality of the company's products. Sharktankindiaclub Vineeta said: "We should accept our body as it is," and opted out on philosophical grounds BizzBucket as much as commercial ones — expressing a view that body-shaping products of this nature may reinforce insecurities rather than address genuine wellness needs. Namita Thapar, despite her Emcure pharma background and the product's health-adjacent positioning, also stepped back. Ashneer Grover, Aman Gupta, and Anupam Mittal all declined, citing the combination of an extremely small revenue base, the novelty and unproven nature of the product category, and the difficulty of imagining how a ₹10 lakh investment could transform a ₹4.8 lakh cumulative revenue business into anything at scale.
