Entrepreneur Background
Chirag Visaria and Sneha Visaria are Season 1's most manufacturing-heritage-grounded founding couple — a husband-and-wife team from a long-established stainless-steel manufacturing family in Mumbai, who identified that India's growing environmental consciousness and anti-plastic movement created a commercial opportunity to brand premium, BPA-free, design-forward stainless steel everyday products for the urban health-conscious consumer. Husband-wife duo Chirag Visaria and Sneha Visaria founded PDD Falcon. Stainless steel home and kitchenware products manufacturer PDD Falcon pitched on Shark Tank India. Post the episode, they received many feedbacks and appreciations through calls, emails, and messages.
The Product / Service
PDD Falcon is a premium stainless-steel home and kitchenware brand — manufacturing and selling 300+ SKUs of BPA-free, food-grade stainless steel containers, tiffin boxes, water bottles, and daily household essentials — targeting urban Indian consumers who are actively reducing their plastic dependency and seeking durable, safe, aesthetically designed alternatives for their kitchen and home storage needs.
The Ask
Amount Asked: ₹75 lakhs Equity Offered: 3% Implied Pre-Money Valuation: ₹25 crore
Pitch Presentation
PDD Falcon's pitch was the second of Episode 29 - arriving after Wakao Foods' all-female-Shark jackfruit deal and before PlayBox TV, in an episode with notable range across sustainability food, sustainability homeware, and media technology. The product display - 300+ SKUs of stainless steel kitchenware, demonstrated for the Sharks — communicated the company's manufacturing depth and product range breadth. The Sharks could physically handle the products, examine the quality, and assess the design. The anti-plastic environmental narrative — positioning stainless steel as the sustainable, health-conscious alternative to plastic kitchenware — was the pitch's primary market tailwind argument. India's single-use plastic restrictions and growing urban consumer environmental awareness gave the category genuine commercial momentum. Their stainless-steel items were designed to meet the needs of modern consumers, offering superior performance, longevity, and aesthetic appeal.
Sharks' Reactions & Criticism
Vineeta Singh exited first on margin grounds. Vineeta was the first Shark to go out due to a lack of margins in the products, which would restrict marketing spending. Anupam Mittal shared the margin concern. Anupam shared the same sentiment and goes out. Namita Thapar exited on product differentiation grounds. Namita couldn't find a differentiator in the products; therefore, she goes out of the negotiations. Peyush Bansal exited on style grounds. Peyush believed that the products were quite old-fashioned. Ghazal Alagh was the sole Shark to offer — driven by genuine interest in the category's sustainability credentials and the founders' manufacturing depth.
Negotiation & Offers
Ghazal gives the first offer of ₹30 lakhs for 10% of the company and the rest as interest at 12%. The founders come back with a counter of ₹75 lakhs for 6% of the company. Ghazal counters at ₹75 lakhs for 11% with the condition that the company would make ₹12 crores or she would get her money back with interest. The founders countered at 6% again, which Ghazal refused, and PDD Falcon walked out of the tank without a deal.
