The Maloo sisters, who are first cousins, were raised together in a close-knit joint family in Ahmedabad. Born just 15 days apart, they have been each other's best friends since childhood. While Ananya worked as a marketing professional in the entertainment industry, Anushree headed business operations for a modular kitchen company. The idea to start Nuutjob came from watching the men around them struggle to find a worthy solution to maintain good hygiene. This was also combined with the fact that male hygiene is less talked about. The Better India Specifically, they live in a joint family and because of this, they get to use the washroom very late — and that observation of men's hygiene realities in a shared living environment gave them direct, daily insight into the problem. The duo conceived their business idea during the lockdown in 2020, spent around one year doing extensive research and testing products. Nuutjob focuses on the root cause of the problem: heat, sweat, and daily grinding. It serves a bunch of products including Nuutwash, Nutfresh, and Nutliquid. Nuutwash is 4-in-1 — it can be used for nut, butt, body, and hair wash. Nutfresh helps to clean and moisturise the private area of males. It is a made-in-India product, free from talc, aluminium, and parabens. It is gentle on the genitals. The usage is a three-step process: first wash, then moisturise, then deodorise.
